Tired

But it's all worth it to see the smiles and joy on their faces :)

I believe that every single person who went for The Challenge enjoyed themselves! Of sports and supporting their own teammates :) from Adult Leaders, Volunteers and teens who made the first day of the event a fruitful one definitely had a great time cheering for each other and willing to sacrifice anything of them (ie. picking up rubbish on the floor) just to get points for their team :O crazy + psycho + loyal people to their own team :p

I'm supposed to be one of the volunteers in Green team to help bring out the spirit in them to cheer and willing-to-do-anything just for the team. But, Joshua asked me last minute whether if I could help record some footage on the first day of the event like how we did during last year's ACTS Teens The New Normal Camp.

Credits to Audrey Chew for the picture.

So yea, I "accepted" the job, borrowed Joanne Poon's Camcorder, and started running here and there + recording random scenes before and during the event.

Besides, I was "chosen" to be one of the Referees as well for the Telematch games for Red House! It was superb funny to see myself cheering for the Red House people during the game as though I'm part of the team when I'm actually in Green House :O screamed my lungs out during the game just because the team wasn't listening to my instructions -.-

In the end, first day of The Challenge ended smoothly with around 180 teens or more came to the event :O really thank God for answering our prayers and giving us good weathers with a large number of teens showing up for the event on the first day itself! Heard that there will be more teens going tomorrow! Woohooo! On a side note, thanks to the ever awesome Adult Leaders and Volunteers who put so much effort into making this event happen as well! Proud to be serving in this ministry :)

I'm supposed to be reading my Bible and study Media Appreciation for my Finals on Monday but instead, I'm obviously distracted by the laptop in front of me with Internet access that allows me to download songs and go online :( shall stop here and update more tomorrow :p goodnight!

ACTS Teens The Challenge

Tomorrow is finally THE day for our very first ACTS Teens Sports event!

When?
05.02.2010 (Friday) - 07.02.2010 (Sunday)

What time?
7.30pm - 11pm (Friday)
6.30pm - 10.30pm (Saturday)
4pm - Prize Giving Ceremony (Sunday)

Where?
Kompleks Rakan Muda, Puchong.

I'll be there as a Referee :p and I'm definitely excited to see the number of teens from the age of 11 - 17 years old joining/coming for this sports event! Believing that all Adult Leaders and Volunteers will have fun watching the teens enjoy their time there too :)

But now, I'm practically screaming from the inside cause of transport. Arranging transport is not as easy as you think. Especially when people who does not reply you or give you the information you need, and after when it's way pass the given time to send in their submission, they ask you to help them arrange transport last minutely. All the time I arrange transport, I feel like asking them to just walk to the place. Pfft. *Geram*

What Is Your Problem?

You said that I'm being hostile towards you? Think about it. Your words are so indirect and I dislike people who always have conversation with me without giving me a direct meaning in the sentences he/she speak of. All I can do is just reveal the actual meaning and be straightforward to you, and you say that I'm being hostile towards you. Thanks for the comment.

So be it. Don't wanna talk. Don't talk. By the way, the words you said to me just now totally ruined my mood.

Oh, and if you don't like it so much, you have the choice to NOT talk to me instead of coming back to me and start lecturing me :) my replies towards you these days seems like I nak cari gaduh? Don't talk to me then :) I'm totally fine with it. So that I won't wanna pick a fight with you.

I Give Up

Another couple is getting married soon within this month. Most people expect me to be invited to their wedding. We need to RSVP our attendance to their wedding ceremony/dinner by 7th of February which is this Sunday.

Since no one believes me, I shall say it out loud right here that I did not get their wedding invitation card :) be it wedding ceremony or wedding dinner, I am not invited. So stop assuming and say that I will DEFINITELY be invited. You are not the one who's getting married, what makes you think so and where did you get the confidence in saying that I'll SURELY be invited? :)

Congratulations to the soon-to-be married couples! I shall give my blessings to the both of you in advance in this blog :) keep on dancing for God and smile your ways through the years ahead even after the marriage. God bless the lovely couples :)

February 1st Babies

Wan Yew Jin (27).

One of the few pilots I ever know in life :) he is one friendly guy who's easy to talk to and make friends with :) he has this particular charm that attracts and makes people want to talk or know more about him! He is one of the few jokers that makes you go "out-of-words-to-fight-back" and causes you to laugh and maybe feel stupid at times -.- he is one tough guy who reads whenever he has the time to do so. So don't try to be funny with him :D

Daniel Shin (18).

One of the few campus student I know of when I first join Campus Ministry last year :) the Korean born-in-Sarawak boy is actually very shy, so to speak. I tried talking to him a few times but our conversation doesn't seem to last most of the time :( we should go out for a mamak session together with the gang one day! Chit chat session non-stop :D but overall, he is one friendly guy who's actually nice to talk to as well when you get to know more about him :)

Travis Loh Jin Meng (22).

Last but not least, the one and only Travis Loh in the world that I know of! Hahaha! Another friendly guy who jokes A LOT! A young wedding cinematographer and a passionate photographer himself, he is one talented guy who'll give his best in his work or anything related to video/photography :) he is one good friend that I can count on to but I never turn to him when I have problems. Hahahahaha! He'll try his every way to cheer you up when you're not in a good mood :) one of my ever-awesome chatting partner too during our assignment days where we'll keep each other company and awake to finish our work!

All in all, you guys are one of the greatest gifts from God :) each of you have left me an impression (good) or impacted my life in different ways. Pray that God will bless you guys with a great year ahead and praying that we'll get to know more about each other as well throughout the year :) you guys are awesome to be born in such a day as this!
